Kayak Loaner Program

The loaner boats are:
Single kayak (yellow)
Tandem kayak (blue & yellow)
Sit-on tandem kayak (blue)

 

Rules
The loaner program is open to any member
18 years of age or older. It can be accessed by filling out
the annual waiver form obtained from the Club
Coordinator. At that time you will
be given the combination to access the paddles and
emergency kits.

You are responsible for supplying your
own life jacket.

The borrower will:
• fill out completely the log sheet located in the kayak
binder on the shelf above the desk in the garage,
• stay within a 5 km radius of the Brockville Yacht Club,
• upon return, wipe down the boat, stow the kayak in
its appropriate slot on the rack, lock it,
• return all borrowed equipment to the storage locker,
and
• sign out on the log sheet.

All BYC loaner boats are labelled with a BYC sticker. The
kayak rack is adjacent to the sailing school launch area.
The bottom two rack spaces are dedicated to BYC
loaners.
