Brockville Yacht Club offers a variety of membership options. We look forward to welcoming you into our community. Full Voting Individual Member

Be 18 years of age or more
Shall enjoy all the facilities and privileges of the Club
Access to wet/dry mooring for (1) one vessel

Full Voting Family Membership

Adult primary member/spouse/partner and any children less than 18 years of age
Shall enjoy all the facilities and privileges of the Club

Associate Individual Membership Non-Voting

Individuals must be 18 years of age or more
Shall enjoy all the facilities and privileges of the Club except wet/dry mooring
Shall not be eligible for office or voting
Previously known as "social membership"

Associate Family Membership (Non-Voting)

Adult primary member/spouse/partner and any children less than 18 years of age
Shall enjoy all the facilities and privileges of the Club except wet/dry mooring

Intermediate Membership

Shall be between the ages of 18 and 21 (inclusive) or greater than 21 if attending any educational facility full-time
Shall enjoy limited club facilities and privileges of the club
Access to dry mooring for (1) one vessel
Shall not be eligible for office or voting

Junior Membership

Less than 18 and not listed on a family membership
Shall enjoy limited club facilities and privileges of the club
Access to dry mooring for (1) one vessel
Shall not be eligible for office or voting

Sustaining

Must in a full voting membership before requesting transition to sustaining membership from the board
Maintains continuous membership
Temporary
Same rights and privileges as a privileged person
Family members not included
May revert to previous membership by paying current membership fees
Shall not be eligible for office or voting

Non-Resident

Must reside greater than 60km from the clubhouse
Shall be eligible to attend social events
Family inclusion must be approved by the board of directors
Shall not be eligible for office or voting

Membership Information Details

The following two membership levels are awarded by appointment by the Directors of the Club.

An Honorary Member shall be appointed as such by the directors of the Club in recognition of an outstanding contribution to the welfare of the Club. The appointment shall be for a term to expire at the next Annual General Meeting. An Honorary Member and spouse shall enjoy all the facilities of the Club but shall not be entitled to hold office or to vote at any meeting of members of the Club.

An Honorary Life Member shall be appointed as such by the directors of the Club in special recognition of an outstanding long-term contribution, or a single extraordinary contribution to the welfare of the Club. The appointment shall be for life. An Honorary Member and spouse shall enjoy the privileges of an Individual or Family member.
